Cafe Rio

 Hello Hello!!!!
So this weekend was great! On Friday, Ry and I went to Cafe RIO!!!!!! Ryan loves Cafe Rio! When he lived in Utah, he was addicted...and now, I'm addicted! lol So that was fun :) The nearest location is about 35 miles from us...which kinda stinks. After Cafe Rio we went to get ice cream, visited Barnes and Nobles and went home. The next morning was the first session of General Conference!!!! I was SO ready for it! I had my lap desk out, 3 notebooks, 3 pens and a blanket! Conference was amazing!!!!!!! I loved it :) In between the morning and afternoon session, Ry and I decided to embark on another journey to Cafe Rio...yes, we know. Crazy. lol it was well worth it! If I could, I would go back today too. lol so here are a few pictures:

I am So bad at coming up with creative titles! I read other blogs and they have the cutest titles! so...forgive me. lol I'll work on it!

As you can see... I had a fun weekend! So let me update on my 3day weekend!
On Friday, We went to the Farmers Market and walked around, bought some kettle corn, and just enjoyed the atmosphere :) after that we went to the football game! It was SO fun! the whole time, covina was loosing....and Ryan kept cheering for W. Covina. THEN in the last 3 minutes, we score 3 touchdowns! AMAZING! I love my Colts! :)

On Saturday, The DaddyOs and the Dolls were performing at the Orangewood ward end of the summer sooo we were busy most of the day :) It went great! I made a DVD with all the footage and it looks GREAT! After the BBQ, we went to drop off the equipment at Ry's house. Vanessa and Eric decided to go to dinner with us, so we did! we went to Dalia's Pizza :) It was so fun! We LOVE them! Dates with them are always fun! [Today is Vanessa's Bday so I'm excited! She's having a taco man :)]
On Sunday, it was our 19 monthaversary! Yup! ONE year and SEVEN Months! we were originally not going to do anything, since it was on a Sunday. But then! I got epiphany during sacrament, GO TO THE TEMPLE. So we did :) We went to the LA Visitor's Center! It's so gorgeous! We loved it! We later went to Ry's house and played hand an foot with his mom and sis :)
On Monday, we had planned to have breakfast at Bailey's and then go to Descanso Gardens, but! On our way to Descanso Gardens...we changed our mind! So after 7 freeways, we were in LA. We went to the LA Fashion District. Ryan loved it! it's so ghetto, I wanted to use the restroom and they charged me 25 cents for a seat cover! lol. We had fun :) After that we went to Ry's house and had a bbq with his family :) Sooo that was my fun 3 day weekend!

Last night we went to a Hispanic night at my ward and watched a few performances, and after that we went to dinner :) I loove spending time with my bumbo!

Today, we're gunna go to Vanessa's bday party and have fun with them :)

We're in September?! WHAT?!

I still can't believe we're in September! where did August go? lol

So, just to update you guys, my mom LOVED her gift! She had a great birthday! We ended up going to Mayumba's Cuban Cuisine, it's this place in Rosemead that is SO delicious! They have a live band playing salsa, merengue,bachata, etc. they are really good! People actually get up and dance! [Ry and I danced a few songs] hehe :) And the food, oh my goodness! I ordered their house steak, which is the Mayumba Steak. It was SO amazing! It was probably the most tender and most flavor-full steak I've ever had! It's served with fried bananas, rice, and beans. I highly recommend it! But, if you're planning on going on a weekend, you HAVE to make reservations, and if you go after 7:30, there is a $20 cover charge per person. I thought it was worth it!

Now, onto the gifts! My mom got a lot of great gifts this year! She got an HP Mini Laptop, A Kodak Digital Camera, A new LG Cell phone, Benefit Make up, Bare Minerals Make up, Victoria's Secret Lotion and make up, and some cash $$$! lol :) she had a really good birthday! She was very happy to have her little family there!

Amy's wedding was SO fun! They had the IN N OUT truck there! And the decorations were so cute! There was a live band that was great! :) Overall, great time! On our way home, Ry got a flat tire :/ He repaired it and used the spare, but then the spare went crazy and had no air! Sooo after a long time, my sister's bf came and he fixed it! :) yay! We had planned on going to a dance...but that didn't happen. It's ok though! So, that's what that weekend was all about!

Dodger Game 2010

Remember how I mentioned that I was going to a Dodger game? Well, here are some pics!! :)

When we first arrived, this is what we saw....lol not a good sign! but, everything was fine with the Stadium!

The Dodger game was so much fun!!! I always have an amazing time when I'm with the people I love! They're a random bunch, but a lovely one :) At one point during the game, Anneliese got a call from a friend asking what the score was and she looked around the stadium for like 2 minutes and couldn't find it lol! So as you can see, we don't really pay attention to the game...we just go to enjoy each other's company! I love them! :)

A couple weeks ago, my wonderful man cooked dinner for me and it was Delicious!

And Yesterday, my Sweet Man stopped by my work with my FAVORITE flowers!

He also took me to lunch :)

3 years ago yesterday, my dad passed away unexpectedly...and it's always a hard day for me, but Ryan was so sweet and supportive! He made my day much better! I really really miss my dad... I feel like he's missing out on so much! I wish he would have met Ryan...and spoiled Noah! But things don't always work out the way you want them to...I miss him so much. I'm so grateful to have so many people in my life that love me and support me during those tough times. I'm very blessed!

I am SO excited! I've always struggled with my weight...I've never been a skinny girl! And I've tried so many diets...but I never follow through or something comes up! Recently, Ry and his family started a diet plan that is pretty easy to follow and Ive already started noticing a difference in Ry! He's looking extra handsome! :) I started my diet this Wednesday! And I'm SO excited! I get a little grumpy sometimes, but overall, im good! :) Today we walked the track and then played tennis! I won! haha It was so fun! I'm loving this diet :) 

We have a Dodger game tomorrow with my friends! I'm SOOO excited! I'll post pics soon! for now...I'll post one of my FAVORITE pictures of all time! My little fatty Noah:

June June June

June has been good to me :)
On June 5th Ryan and I went to Cafe Rio! It was our 16 Monthaversary. I love Cafe Rio =] I was a little dissapointed the first time I tried it, but I Love it now :) Anyways, I'm so excited! Next week we're gunna be going to Utah!! yay! We're going for 4th of July weekend! I'm so excited to see Austin! :) It'll be a nice way to start July!

So, back to June! We've been pretty busy! On June 11th, we went to a Dodgers Game! It was so fun! I looove Dodger games! On Saturday [the 12th] We went to Anneliese's graduation and later on that evening we went to her Grad Party!

 It was so much fun! I love hanging out with my friends! I wish we did it more often! It's just so difficult with conflicting schedules! On the 18th we went to dinner, the Covina Farmers Market, and to a movie with Becca and Mahinor. Double dates with them are always fun! We watched the Karate Kid, It was a good movie, but I still prefer the original. The next day, Lisa and Michelle had planned a chocolate dipping day with the girls from young women, but No one showed up to help! Only one person and she was a leader! And they had a TON of stuff to dip! So we went over and helped them for a bit :) After that, Ryan and I went to the mall to buy Ry's dad his gift for Fathers Day! We got him a new pair of shoes, a polo, and a button up shirt! After shopping, we went to Ry's house and watched the original Karate Kid :) On father's day, Ry went with me to church and after that I went over to his house to have dinner :)  Here are some pictures:

This Friday, We have a double date with Robert and Gaby! I'm excited about that :) And on Saturday... Ryan has band practice and after that I'm not sure what we will be doing. I'll update! :)
