yes, 10 Days! Where has time gone? I don't know, but anyways. I'm excited!!!!!! This past weekend Ry and I went to LA to pick up the manzanita trees and any last minute items we needed. Overall, it was a fun trip. I was so tired by the end of the day! I found a veil! and guess how much it was? 50, 20, 10, 8! EIGHT whole dollars. lol :) I was expecting to spend at least $40, but I'm glad I looked in LA. Everything is MUCH cheaper! We found all of the decorations for the trees and we're saving a ton of money by doing it our selves! oh! and we found ties for the boys along with hankies for $12. We celebrated Alejandra's Birthday on Saturday and took her to Chuck E Cheese. She had so much fun! and so did we...lol :) Ryan is addicted to the basketball game. I beat him ONCE! but he's about 13 inches taller than me so.... it's really unfair!
uhmmm let's see. Oh yes! on Sunday I recieved a  horrible call from the 1st counselor in my ward saying the following "remember how I told you that the building was reserved for both the 4th and 5th of February? ....well, we just noticed that the first friday of every month there is a dance for the single adults. So.... you only have Saturday" Now.. I didn't freak out. until a little later lol. so yes, how fun is that? I can't set up anything until SATURDAY morning, which is in fact my wedding day. lol Oh dear... :) it's okay though. I'm sure things will work out. The counselor and the stake are trying to help out by setting up for me, but I just don't want to be worrying about how the building is going to look. you know? ugh, anyways. that's that. I'm trying to remail calm. Oh and guess what? I'm sick! On monday I woke up with a stuffy nose, a head ache, and watery eyes. I came to work and when I got home I felt even worse! I went to Ry's house and had family home evening with his family and I asked for a blessing :) so it was nice. Later that night, I felt really hot and I checked my temperature and it read 102. ew :/ I felt horrible! I didn't sleep at all! I woke up at 3 and had a wonderful chat with my friend Carlos lol. He was 1 out of 3 people on facebook who were up at that time.. The next day I stayed home from work and felt horrible! And today, here i am. At Work. Catching up on a ton of stuff! :( and bloggging lol. well anyways, I should get going. byeee!

I just realized...that in 16 days, It'll be Feb. 5! Ah, madness! now let's just hope I finish everything I need to finish... lol

I still need a veil. I completely forgot that I needed that...

Anyways, things are falling into place.

This past Saturday, Ry's mom hosted a bridal shower for me and it was soooo much fun! We played a few games and had a good time :) She had a pasta bar, salad, rolls, sweets, etc. I loved it!
And gifts...oh my goodness. I got so many! Here are some of the items: 2 crockpots, 2 baking sets, tupperware set, rice cooker, 2 vacuums, lingirie, cook book, waffle maker, towels, a basket full of random necesities (thanks Carla!), and SO many more things! It was really nice! I was so excited to take the gifts to our apartment, so we took them that same night :) Overall, it was great! I have 1 more shower this coming Friday! I'm so amazed at how many showers I had. lol THREE. crazy, isn't it? I have so many thank you cards to send out! but I have fun writting them so it's okay.

Sooo, that's that. I'll be going to LA on Saturday morning and I probably will be decorating manzanita trees all evening. I have a make up trial tonight and I'm excited! :) and my hair...uhm. I still don't know what to do lol. well, I'm off! Bye!!

Sometimes...

I regret planning to have a reception.

To be completely honest, I didn't want one.

I just wanted to get married, and have a nice dinner with close friends and family. And by close friends I mean the 4 friends I usually hang out with.

It's so stressful! Especially when Money is an issue.

Right now, I have to buy so many things and I have 1 paycheck to work with.

I knew I should have done the private dinner.


Btw, I went to the church distribution center yesterday and had such a... strange experience. lol

So this is what happened:
Ry and I went because it was the only day we could go. Nay (my escort) was working, so she couldnt go with me :/ we had planned on Thursday, but I had something to do. So anyways, off we go to the store. As soon as I tell them it's my first time buying G's, they show me a cardboard with like 8 different fabrics attached to it. So... I feel them and try to understand the difference. lol anyways, they were NOT helpful at all! I was SO lost!
The ceremonial clothes through me off. I was so confused!!!!! So anyway, we got what I needed and we left. About 5 minutes into the drive, Ryan is asking how I'm feeling and guess what I say? nothing. I cried. ALL the way home! like a true loser. lol and he was so confused...wondering why I was crying and asking what he did wrong. I just felt so out of the loop. and confused!!! He really didn't do anything wrong, I was just overwhelmed. I think it hit me! I'm a big girl now. So that's my story, I cried for 15 minutes, tears and all. Ry was very sweet and made me feel better :) So that's whats happenin'! I'm going to the temple on Friday!!!! ahhh, madness! I'll update about that :)

Here's an idea..

I'm just going to stop logging into my blogger account after 7pm.
This is what usually happens: I log on, read what my friends are up to...etc.
THEN....I look at what THEIR friends have posted. and it happens. I stay up till 2:30 reading all about newlywed couples and all the cute things they do together. It kinda stinks not having many newlywed friends who blog often. I would LOVE to have a ton of friends like my friend (accidental country girl) that are married and share so many cute ideas! anyways, I should probably stop stalking strangers. I'm probably the reason why they go private. haha. hmph. anyways, I should probably go to bed.

Oh! we got our furniture! well, most of it :) I will take pictures tomorrow and post them! :) Ry and I are going to start moving in some of our things into our Apt 15! The number 5 really likes us....2/5/9, 11/5/10, and last but not least: 2/5/11 woop woop.
Anyways, I'm excited. we finished painting and we're just fixing up some details. I'm not even thinking about the reception anymore...lol I'm more excited about our little place :) ok ok, bedtime.

Oh! the bleeding continues. :( help? I don't want to be featured on the show 1000 ways to die as the girl that died from having her period for 3 years.

The beauty of womanhood (dear men, do not read.)

Yes, that was written with a sarcastic tone. I'm only sharing this because im hoping some of you have had some experience with this issue. So here's my story:
I started birth control (loestrin24 fe) about 3 weeks ago, everything was fine, until last saturday. I started experiencing breakthrough bleeding, not spotting..it's like an actual period. So today is day 6 of nonstop bleeding. My placebos start in 2 days and then I start a new pack next Thursday. I don't know what to do!!!! If this is how birth control works, I don't want it lol. My coworker started the same pill 4 days before I did and she's experiencing the SAME thing! Ugh so frustrating. AnywAy, has this happened to any of you? If so...please help me! Thank you! :)

Not so good, very bad day ended well.

Yesterday was NOT my day! Well, kinda. I'm being dramatic :)
anyways, I came to work and worked. During work, I get news that the person who was going to do the draping for the wedding..is no longer going to do it. :( It was terrible. I was so sad that I wouldn't have the draping. I could look for someone else to do it, but they charge almost twice as much than what the 1st person was going to charge. AND I have a little over a month left, so there's no time to do it on my own. I've decided on an alternative route, I'm going to buy the paper lanterns that are lit and just hang them across. Hopefully that will look nice :) So that's my next Issue. Where do I buy these and how much are they going to be? I still dont know. lol I looked some up and then cost about 160 for 28 of them with the light included. I don't know if this is cheap or expensive... I want to go to DownTown LA, but its been raining for about 3 days straight! and this weekend is Christas, so they'll be closed. I D K what to do. uhm. oh yes, Ryan was supposed to pick me up at 6 to go get a gift for his coworker and I waited until about 6:30 and decided to call him.
"Hey Ry, where are you?"
"uhhhhh...uhmmm in my room"
YES. in his room. He feel asleep when he sat down to take off his shoes. that doesn't make sense...lol anyway, I was a bit upset. so he picked me up at 7 and we went off on our errands.
I don't stay mad for long. but here's a tip: If I am ever upset, just leave me alone. Don't ask what is wrong, don't try to talk to me about it right away, just leave me alone and I'll be fine in a few minutes. After a while I can explain everything, but at the moment..just let me relax. lol :)

On a brighter note, my aunt sent us some moneyyyy to buy our couches!!! yay! we have $600 to spend, I'm excited! so thats what we'll do today. I'm debating between two styles. Brown leather or Tan Microfiber. I like fabric better because it's more comfy, but Ryan likes leather because its easier to clean. any advice? let me know.

Our bed will be delivered on the 27th! yay! We have a stove! yay!
Our kitchen table won't be purchased until the week of the wedding. My aunt wants to buy it for us when she comes for the wedding. Did I mention how much I love my Tia? because I do. She's so crazy, but she's so nice! :)

Yesterday Ryan gave me this speech about how the draping doesn't matter and that the only thing that matters is that we'll be married...followed by a bunch of sweet stuff. I shed a tear and said "my eyeliner is bugging me" lol I don't cry often...only when I'm stressed or mad. I didn't even cry when he proposed! lol sad...I know.

Oh! the sweater party went FANTASTIC. :) We met at BJs and had dinner then went to Becca and Mahinor's place to hang out. Mahinor was my secret Santa and he gave me a CUTE white coat!!!! I wanted to buy this coat during the blackfriday sale at Old Navy, but I didn't have money! so I was sooo happy! Ryan loved his hoodie! Anneliese loved Ry's gift! overall, great Secret Santa! After that, the boys started watching TV and we went to Becca's room to talk about the wedding and stuff :) They are planning my Bridal Shower! I'm excited! [ So far, I'm having 3 showers] The boys snuck out and bought pizza and didn't tell us! but lucky for us, Becca's nose is crazy and she could smell pizza from a mile away lol. I love my friends!

Well, I'm off! I'm all alone at work, they all went shopping. :/

Bloggg is Moving!

Yes, Sad. B U T, It's only fair to let Ry in on all this fun I've been having. lol (he hates blogs) He claims that he reads mine, but he doesn't. It's okay.. So anyways, I'm working on the other blog, so I won't be moving just yet. I'm trying to make it not so girly and not as fancy as this one...because it was a hassle to get the font like this. lol but anyways, Here's whats happening:
After work I'm going shopping for a few last minute gifts and then Ry and I are going to game night with our friends Joe and Kristin. We *heart* them! They're married, so it's fun to be around them :)
Last night, I went to the LA temple with Nay! Ahhh I missed her so much!! there's never silence when we're together. Afterall, we're spititual friends. lol We were probably best friends before this world! She will be my escort!! I'm SO excited! And as a wedding gift, she wants to buy my temple dress! she's a sweetheart :)
*sidenote: I had a dream that my temple dress was see thru :/ *

I've been sick since last Thursday. I didn't go to work on Friday :/
And today, I was at work and my boss made me come home because I couldn't stop coughing. But anyways...here are some things I'm looking forward to:

Thursday: I'm going to the LA Temple for Baptisms with my dear friend Naomi. She's on my top 10 favorite people list. :) I'm so excited!!! She got back from her mission about a month ago and we haven't hung out yet, so I'm looking forward to it! Especially because we'll be at the temple!!!

Saturday: Ry's company party is that afternoon, so I'm excited because he gets his bonus! woop woop! After that, we're heading over to the annual SECRET [not so secret] Santa Dinner with my friends!!! It's so fun! It's an ugly sweater party and we stopped by the Goodwill today to buy some sweaters that are hidious. Mine has fishes...plants...and a sun lol yupp. Ryan got a baby blue and light purple sweater lol. I'll be sure to take pictures!!! I love hanging out with my friends :) This year, I actually WAS a SECRET Santa! I haven't told ANYONE, not even Ryan. he begged, tricked me, begged some more, and tried to get it out of me in many ways...it didn't happen. Yay. and I'm a horrible liar, so that's a huge accomplishment.

So yes, fun weekend ahead :)

Oh!!! we officially have an apartment!!!! I'll take pictures once its furnished, painted and all that good stuff.

Work, School, Primary, Wedding!

I've been so bad about blogging!!! oh dear... I've been so busy! here's what I've been up to:

Primary:
these cute little children have been taking up a lot of my time, and I love it! :) The primary Sacrament program is on the 28th of this month! and I've been Primary President for ONE month! and I had to plan a primary program! So you can imagine how crazy I was for the first week! lol and THEN, Ryan proposed a week later! soooo, yeah :) The kids are so sweet! I've made a lot of changes, such as: a treasure chest, a sticker chart, etc. As of right now, they are doing SO great with their songs! I made some visuals that really helped them remember the lyrics! they've been practicing their parts every Sunday since the 7th. So far about 4 kids have their parts memorized :) yay!

So...the plans are coming along beautifully. In Mexican culture, it's very
common when family members pitch in money to help you with expenses. But usually, it only happens if you ask for the help. WELL, my friends and family have been very VERY generous! so far here is the list of people who want to help:

Food: My sister's bf's parents. [long, I know.] They offered to pay for the FOOD! amazing!
Invitations: My mom's bf's son and his wife.
Dress: My mom :)
Flowers: My mom's bf
My bouquet: My mom's bff

News!!!!

oh my goodness...
I have some news! :) sooo, this past Friday, Ryan and I celebrates our 21mothaversary and he wanted to take me out to a nice dinner, so we went to Te queen Mary :) it's a huge boat with a hotel and restaurants inside. We had dinner and afterthat we went for a walk on the top level, which was overlooking The pier and water :) so we sat at a bench to relax and we were having a normal conversation, he starts telling me how much he loves me and I don't think anything is out of Te ordinary because he tells me those things all the time, so after a while, he gets down on one knee and says "which is why I wanted to ask you...will you marry me?" and I said "you're joking right?" lol and I said "really?!?" like 25 times. And he says "so...is that a yes?" and I said yes :) sooo were engaged!! We don't gave a date yet, we'll start planning today! Yay! It's still not on Facebook! So...feel very special :) I'll update along the way!!

October was SO busy!!!
On the 2nd, Ry and I went to Cafe Rio for dinner and spent the night hanging out :)
On the 8th, we went to Disneyland to celebrate my Birthday! yay :) It was fun! I'll post pics soon.
On the 9th, we went to dinner at Mayumba, yummmm. It's the cuban place that my mom loves :) a couple friends joined us!
On the 10th, My mom cooked my favorite dish for lunch, and Ryan came over of course :)
Later on, we went over to Ry's house and his mom cooked dinner for us, so yummy!
On the 16th, I don't remember what we did....lol
On the 22nd, Knotts SCARY farm! :)
on the 23rd, my friend Anneliese had a Halloween party!
On the 29th, we went to a wedding.
On the 30th, Ry and his band performed at a Harvest Festival at church and then I had to rush over to my ward to monitor the games for the kids :)

Oh yeah, I have a new calling.

Cafe Rio

 Hello Hello!!!!
So this weekend was great! On Friday, Ry and I went to Cafe RIO!!!!!! Ryan loves Cafe Rio! When he lived in Utah, he was addicted...and now, I'm addicted! lol So that was fun :) The nearest location is about 35 miles from us...which kinda stinks. After Cafe Rio we went to get ice cream, visited Barnes and Nobles and went home. The next morning was the first session of General Conference!!!! I was SO ready for it! I had my lap desk out, 3 notebooks, 3 pens and a blanket! Conference was amazing!!!!!!! I loved it :) In between the morning and afternoon session, Ry and I decided to embark on another journey to Cafe Rio...yes, we know. Crazy. lol it was well worth it! If I could, I would go back today too. lol so here are a few pictures:
